I attended the Calgary gun show, April 3-4, searching for a Ross Cadet. There were 6 that I was able to find, 5 for sale and 1 being displayed as part of a private collection. The asking prices of the 5 available Cadets ranged from 350$ to 1100$.

350$   full stock commercial model; receiver drilled for aperture sight
400$   full stock military model; stock varnished, deep corrosion on barrel and receiver
450$   full stock commercial model
900$   full stock commercial model
1100$   full stock commercial model

The 400$ one was the only military Cadet; the others were commercial Cadets, all with full length stocks. The 350 and 400$ examples were, in my non-expert estimation, mortally wounded in the sense that either the stock or metal parts were beyond restoration due to Bubba’s heavy hand or gross neglect. The 900 and 1100$ examples were in exceptional condition but out of my price range.  I bought the one in the middle of the group.

Nice score!

Under-appreciated, but gaining in both awareness and popularity. I was at the show both days and have to admit I did not see all of the Cadets you cited. Enjoy shooting it.
